**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Content Editing**: Review, edit, and proofread content for clarity, accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style guides. Ensure content meets the company’s quality standards.
- **Content Strategy**: Collaborate with content creators and stakeholders to align content with strategic goals and audience needs. Provide feedback and guidance on content development.
- **Project Management**: Manage editorial workflows and deadlines. Coordinate with writers, designers, and other team members to ensure timely delivery of content.
- **Team Management**: Oversee and mentor junior editors and content creators. Provide guidance, feedback, and support to ensure cohesive and high-quality output from the team.
- **Research and Fact-Checking**: Conduct research and verify facts to ensure the accuracy and credibility of content.
- **Quality Assurance**: Implement and uphold editorial standards and best practices. Identify and resolve content-related issues.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: 3-5 years of professional editing experience, preferably in the sports industry.
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- **Skills**: Excellent command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and syntax. Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and editing tools.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong focus on accuracy and consistency with an eye for detail.
- **Communication**: Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to provide constructive feedback and work collaboratively.
- **Time Management**: Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Master's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience with SEO-Optimized content.
- Familiarity with multimedia content (e.g., video scripts, social media posts).
- Knowledge of cricket, including trends and terminology.
