**Job Summary**:
We are looking for a competent and experienced **Legal Officer** to join our team in Bhubaneswar. The Legal Officer will be responsible for managing legal affairs, handling litigation, loan recovery processes, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, particularly within the NBFC and finance industry.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and oversee legal issues related to loan recovery and collections.
- Draft, review, and finalize agreements, notices, legal letters, and contracts.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, arbitration, and court matters.
- Liaise with external legal counsels and law firms for litigation matters.
- Monitor and maintain case status reports and legal documentation.
- Ensure regulatory and statutory compliance with RBI and NBFC norms.
- Provide legal advice and opinions to internal departments as needed.
- Handle customer disputes, legal notices, and grievances related to finance operations.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB); Master’s in Law (LLM) is an advantage.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in legal functions, preferably in an NBFC, Bank, or Financial Institution.
- Strong knowledge of civil, criminal, banking, and NBFC-related laws.
- Experience in handling recovery suits, arbitration cases, and legal documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good command over English & Hindi
- Ability to work independently and handle pressure.
