**Position Summary**

Under the supervision of the Mechanical supervisor, the Welder operates and maintains machines assigned and required as per Client standards.

**General responsibilities**
- Comply always and fully with IT requirements
- Be quality conscious (dynamic approach towards quality improvement and aim at getting things right first time)
- Maintain confidentiality, integrity and safeguard The Client trade secrets
- Respect and support fellow employees at all times
- Respond to changes positively (technical advancements as well as organizational adaptations)
- Act in such a manner that reputation is highly respected
- Be results-oriented; alert others timely when a task may not produce the required result for final product
- Follow Process Flow Charts and interact with other departments when required
- Assure timely and accurate reporting to IT Department
- Identify training requirements

**Key Responsibilities & Authorities**
- Able to read assembly drawings and interpret welding symbols.
- Operates machine such as welding, drilling, etc.
- Maintain the machines as and when required.
- Keeps the machines and workshop area clean and tidy.
- Lays out, positions and secures parts and assemblies according to specifications
- Installs or repairs equipment. Observes tests on welded surfaces
- Analyzes engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout, assembly and welding operations
- Inspects grooves, angles or gap allowances
- Develops templates and other work aids to hold and align parts
- Carries out any other related Jobs as and when required by the Supervisor and/or HOD

**Accountability**
- Respects fellow employees.
- Makes sure to follow the company policy in respective department.
- Makes sure the correct drawing is followed
- Maintains department tidy and implements daily housekeeping

**Skills/Experience**:

- ITI Technical certificate. ( Industrial training institute)

**- Arc, Tig Welding experience.**
- Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering/design department for production of design/shop drawings/material submittals
- Prior experience in inline inspection is preferred
- Language : HINDI, English should speak and understand English

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

- Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Welding: 3 years (preferred)
- Arc Welding: 3 years (preferred)
- TIG welding: 3 years (preferred)
