myNachiketa seeks to build a D2C brand that develops products to bring the knowledge of Gita & Upanishads to children. Children do not know ideas of Hindu Philosophy, which may be easily amenable to them through stories, metaphors and demos. We are designing innovative products including videos, courses, books, games, workshops, etc. and bringing them to the masses through various channels. Our method is to encourage kids to question and think of various different ways of arriving at answers, rather than developing a regimented thought process. Our goal is to rapidly grow into the market and reach every child in India between the age of 0-14 and gradually target all the kids in the world. We believe we have a unique opportunity since there is no large brand for Hinduism for kids right now.

We are backed by seasoned team who have built a 100 million dollar company and have substantial experience in product development, market fit and go-to-market. We officially started working from July 2021 and in just a short span of time we already have 18500+ followers across Instagram, Youtube and FB. We are well funded for the next three years and we want to do something remarkable for the young generation.

Role: Creative Script Writer

We have a challenging task of creating scripts that simplify complex philosophical content for children. We wish to write scripts which accurately represent the content, but at the same time have mass appeal (virality) and raise the curiosity of the child. This is unique content, which no one has attempted to make before and will be a long-term and highly impactful contribution in the world of education.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and entrepreneurial person who can take up this task, deeply understand content and creatively develop scripts for amazing videos based on it. Our content is highly specialized, related to Indian philosophy based on the knowledge encapsulated in the Vedas, Upanishads, and Gita. You will be one of the important members of the team who will contribute in a big way in the 0-1 journey of the organization. We're looking for a captain to plan, execute, lead content across all platforms of our organization from youtube, instagram, facebook, blogs, linkedin etc.

**Responsibilities**:

- Deeply understand our content, and develop content strategy - types of content that we need to develop for kids of different age groups, and different content areas.
- Develop scripts for videos ranging from 1min to 15min by brainstorming various ideas with team.
- Develop fiction (storytelling) and non-fiction scripts based on our content.
- Closely work with the team to get scripts executed as high quality and immersive videos.
- Develop ad film concepts for promoting myNachiketa vision and mission.
- Work with the team to develop content strategy for different platforms including instagram, facebook, youtube, etc.
- Conduct research to ensure impactful content which is aligned with different social media platforms
- Understand trends and formats of content for social platforms i.e: Trend-jacking content, topical days content, visual responses with fans (organic/ real-time) etc
- Proofread and provide feedback on various products like books, workshop material etc.

Requirement
- Graduate or Post Graduate professional degree in mass comm, writing, script writing, journalism, philosophy, or related field.
- Experience in storytelling viz theatre, youtube videos, ad film development, etc.
- An inherent skill for storytelling, you live for creativity and love developing innovative and exciting ideas
- Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
- Strong background in writing with experience in simplifying/summarizing messages as well as writing dialogue.
- Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary.
