**Role**:
**Knowledge and Skills**:

- BE/B.Tech in Computer Science or higher as well as related field of study or equivalent experience
- 9 + years of professional experience in software development
- Extensive DevOps experience developing and delivering products in a collaborative, agile team environment
- Strong understanding of Object Oriented technology and standard Java development frameworks, including OOD and OOP skills
- Strong Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) using Bamboo, Jenkins, Concourse or other CI/CD tool
- Strong understanding of RDBMS / NOSQL databases concepts.
- Strong Experience with extreme programming (XP) practices (TDD/BDD, CI/CD, paired programming, etc.)
- Strong Experience in using IDEs like Eclipse 3.x, IntelliJ IDEA
- Strong Experience with creating technical solutions that are pragmatic and align to business needs
- Strong collaboration, communication, and coaching skills; ability to navigate social and political issues inside the organization
- Ability to solve complex technical problems
- Ability to mentor and grow other software engineers

**Preferred Knowledge and Skills**:

- Experience working with microservice architectures and 12-factor cloud native principles
- Experience with Javascript and XQuery
- Experience with messaging tools like RabbitMQ, kafka, MQ and Solace
- Experience with Mocking and testing frameworks
- Experience with Jackson libraries for XML/JSON
- Experience with Version control System like GIT
- Experience with containerization and container orchestration technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience implementing a role-based security model and configure permissions and privileges
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (PCF, AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with MarkLogic and XQuery
- Experience with Kotlin
- Practical understanding of Domain Driven Design concepts
- Mentor and grow other software engineers
