**Job Title: Domain Tester**

**Experience : 6+ years**

**Location: Bengaluru (Hybrid)**

**Mode: 6 month contract + ext.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide an objective assessment of product quality and actively contribute as a **Software Tester** within an agile team.
- Contribute to sprint planning and story sizing, ensuring all testing concerns and requirements are discussed and addressed upfront.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand key end-user workflows and define testing strategies.
- Develop comprehensive **test cases** based on test objectives and acceptance criteria to verify product functionality.
- Define, create, and maintain robust test environments to support various testing activities.
- Execute tests to validate functionality according to project requirements and user stories.
- Identify, communicate, and document bugs and defects clearly and consistently, tracking them through to resolution.
- Verify that bugs are resolved correctly and that the fixes are successfully implemented.

**Required Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role.
- **Domain Knowledge**: A strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), including various testing types such as **Smoke, Functional, Integration, Performance, Regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).**:

- **Methodologies**: You should be comfortable working in an **Agile** environment.
- **Tooling**: Experience with **Test Case creation**, **Defect and Test Management tools** such as **Azure DevOps/TFS or JIRA** is essential.
- **Automation**: A basic understanding of framework creation using any automation tool is required.
- **Communication**: You must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

**Job Type**: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
