**Change the future with us and What are my responsibilities?**
- Works closely with the team and assists them to understand the Sinumerik Operate Legacy and new features.
- Assesses the teams’ domain competence from time to time and prepares the plan to bridge the gap if any.
- Interacts with the relevant stakeholders to understand the upcoming SINUMERIK features and their prioritie
- Helps the team in understanding the usage of SINUMERIK features from the point of customer usage.
- Understands the field/customer problems and converts them to relevant test scenarios
- Responsible for integration and regression testing
- Debug and perform in-depth analysis of test case failures and identify the root cause
- Collaborate with development teams and create bug reports for failures reported and track it for closure
- Make sure all required tests are executed on the identified versions and platforms
- Perform Risk Based Testing and test case optimization on all applicable platforms
- Strive for Continuous improvement of existing tests, tools & processes.
- Provide timely status to the stakeholders & management

**What do I need to qualify for this job?**
- We are looking for BE / B.Tech / M.Tech / ME or equivalent preferably in Electronics / Electrical / Mechatronics/ Instrumentation/Comp. Science with 3-5 years of commissioning/testing experience preferably on industrial automation products like HMI, CNC, PLC is expected.
- Sinumerik, Simatic, TIA products Engg. & Commissioning experience is preferred
- Exposure to any of the test automation framework will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of any defect management tools
- Experience in developing integration and regression tests
- Knowledge of lean/agile practices
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to command respect and to create a sense of community amongst the members of the Scrum teams
- Knowledge of Testing life cycle and Release processes.
- Knowledge/experience with Product Lifecycle Management processes
- Functional Knowledge of standard project planning/tracking tools
- Exposure in working with multi-site global teams.
