**MANDATE POINTER**:Any of the below certification is mandate -**

Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) Database certification.

MCSA: SQL Server 2016/2017/2019 (This certification validated skills in SQL Server database administration, development, and querying.)

Exam DP-300: Administering Microsoft Azure SQL Solutions (Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate)

**Responsibilities**:

- Administer and maintain SQL Server database systems, ensuring their availability, integrity, and performance, including 24/7 support coverage.
- Monitor database performance, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, and optimizing SQL queries for improved efficiency.
- Design, implement, and manage database security measures, including access controls, user permissions, and data encryption.
- Perform database backups, disaster recovery planning, and ensure data integrity through regular testing and verification procedures.
- Analyze and troubleshoot database-related issues, promptly addressing and resolving technical problems, even during non-business hours.
- Develop and maintain database documentation, including data models, system architecture, and standard operating procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in database administration, sharing knowledge with the team and proposing innovative solutions.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical database issues and incidents, responding promptly and effectively to minimize downtime and ensure continuous availability.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a SQL Server DBA, managing enterprise-level database systems, with 24/7 support exposure.
- Extensive knowledge on all kind of Replication request like Mirroring, Always on ,cluster ,HA etc
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex database issues.
- Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries for performance and efficiency.
- In-depth knowledge of SQL Server database administration, including installation, configuration, backup, recovery, and security.
- Experience with performance monitoring and tuning tools, such as SQL Server Profiler and Performance Monitor.
- Familiarity with writing database procedures, functions and triggers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to provide 24/7 on-call support and availability outside of regular business hours.
- Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Data Management and Analytics, are a plus

**Salary**: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,700,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bangalore, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- SQL server: 5 years (preferred)
- Azure SQL: 4 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

- microsoft certified/Azure (preferred)
