**Your key responsibilities**
- Define, Develop and maintain and execute on a Central Book of Work process in relation to Major Change and New Applications for onboarding to production
- Enhance, Develop and maintain an automated workflow for onboarding of New Applications and major changes into Production
- Identify & communicate risks associated with New Applications and major changes into Production
- Create stories for production engineer owned changes for entry into release process
- Attend and facilitate program and project planning meeting to prioritize bug fixes, resiliency and performance enhancements, clearly articulate potential benefits in form of user stories and acceptance criteria
- Maintain NFR standards, review requirements and specification
- As key member of the central Transition and Change team a Service Transition Specialist provides updates, highlighting any risks and concerns
- Actively monitor for and seek opportunities, new methods, trends, capabilities and products to the advancement of the organization
- Own process of tracking manual tasks and identifying means of automation, employing both strategic and short term tactical automation means
- Encourage and motivate colleagues to share creative ideas and learn from failures

Participates and provides input for lessons learnt sessions for sprints and projects.

**Your skills and experience**

**Experience | Exposure (Recommended)**:

- Overall IT experience of 5 years
- 2+ years Change Management experience within a global operations context
- 2+ years experience in IT in large corporate environments, specifically in the area of controlled production environments or in Financial Services Technology in a client-facing function
- Global Transaction Banking / Corporate and Investment Banking Experience is a plus.
- Experience of end to end Level 2 management and good overview of Production/Operations Management overall
- IITIL / best practice service context
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work in virtual teams and in matrix structures

Working knowledge of change management, problem and incident tracking tools (i.e. Remedy, ServiceNow etc.)

**Education/Certification**
- Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Computer Science or IT-related discipline (or equivalent work experience or diploma)
- ITIL Foundation Certificate
- PMP certification from PMI

**Technical Competencies**:

- Strong knowledge of Oracle databases, including working experience of writing scripts and queries
- Working experience on UNIX/Linux, Solaris, Java J2EE, shell scripts, secure connectivity and protocols, Monitoring Tools (Geneos/Nagios/NewRelic), Scheduling Tools (Control-M/AutoSys), ITIL Framework.
- Understanding of Cloud Computing with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Analysis and report writing experience in Tableau and Business Objects.
