**The**Opportunity**:
Avantor is looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking, and experienced Customer service representative, who will be responsible for delivering results against some of the most complex business and technology initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities and Tasks**:

- To raise customer orders on SAP and progress through to completion
- Handle export orders
- Ensure export licenses are in place.
- Link quotations to orders
- Input correct shipping conditions taking into account relevant regulations.
- Ensure temperature-controlled products are treated in the correct way.
- Raise pro forma invoices.
- Ensure internal account managers are informed of any credit blocks or price discrepancies on orders
- To be responsible for the efficient releasing of all Export consignments across the various modes of dispatch by air and sea
- Respond to customer requests for product availability, expected delivery dates, status updates of orders.
- Regularly liaise with internal account managers making them aware of any customer issues.
- Coordinate with internal teams on queries.

**Skills, knowledge & experience**:

- Highly motivated individual with outstanding customer focus.
- Good organizational and administrative skills.
- Computer literate, Word, Excel. Knowledge of SAP an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to work as part of a team, in a busy department.
- Basic knowledge in French
- Export knowledge is an advantage.
- The ability to work to deadlines under pressure whist maintaining a flexible approach.
