Job Description of a Pattern Making Master
- Pattern Development: Create initial garment patterns based on designer sketches or concepts.
- Pattern Grading: Scale patterns up or down to create various sizes while maintaining proportions.
- Fit Evaluation: Collaborate with designers, sample makers, and fit models to perfect garment fit and shape.
- Technical Specifications: Prepare detailed technical specifications for each pattern, including seam allowances, notches, and labels.
- Pattern Alterations: Modify patterns as needed based on feedback from fit sessions and sample production
- Quality Assurance: Conduct pattern reviews to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
- Documentation: Maintain organized records of all patterns and revisions.
- Work closely with design, production, and sample-making teams to ensure accurate interpretation of designs into patterns.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in pattern making.
- Education: Degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Manufacturing, or related field. Additional coursework in pattern making is preferred.
- Experience: Several years of experience as a Pattern Maker or Pattern Master in the fashion industry.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
