**Key Responsibilities**:

- Inputs data and analysis of findings in Loan Prospector, Desktop Underwriter and / or other AUS engines
- Analyze income from salaried, commissioned, self-employed, investment and fixed income sources
- Analyze assets statements for all types of asset accounts
- Conditions files for missing/supporting documentation
- Revisits loans to review and clear conditions as documents are received
- Escalates potential fraud files to Credit Manager / Risk Management team
- Communicate status and decisions (approval, suspense, denial) to the appropriate individuals in accordance with company SLA’s
- Provide excellent customer service to internal clients by demonstrating expertise, accuracy, thoroughness, thoughtfulness, politeness, enthusiasm and clearly conveying requirements in written format
- Update system with all appropriate information
- Interpret policies and program requirements while analyzing applicant information, property and documentation
- Comprehensive understanding of credit underwriting guidelines for FNMA and FHLMC for both purchase loans and refinances

**Skills Required**:

- Minimum 2+ years of current experience in U.S. Mortgage with Underwriting experience
- Knowledge of entire loan life cycle: including processing, underwriting and closing procedures
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills
- Able to prioritize multiple competing tasks and manage time effective in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solver with strong analytical skills
- Ability to adheres to directives, procedures and standards
- Ability to work in a paperless environment
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Product Suite

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Any Graduate
- 2 + Years of experience in US mortgage and underwriting

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹650,000.00 per year
