Job Description:
Position Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
**Tax Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with all applicable Indian tax laws, including filing of income tax returns, GST returns, TDS returns, and other related compliance requirements.
- Stay updated with changes in tax regulations and implement necessary adjustments to ensure compliance.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of tax-related transactions and documentation.
- Tax Planning:

- Analyze financial data to identify tax planning opportunities and strategies to minimize tax liabilities within the framework of Indian tax laws.
- Provide guidance to the management team on tax-efficient business structures, investments, and transactions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of tax-efficient strategies for business operations.

- **Financial Reporting**:

- Prepare financial statements and reports in compliance with Indian accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting of tax-related information in financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, considering tax implications.
- Tax Audits and Assessments:

- Liaise with tax authorities and represent the company during tax audits, assessments, and inquiries.
- Prepare documentation and respond to queries from tax authorities in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist in resolving any tax disputes or controversies through effective communication and negotiation.

- **Advisory and Training**:

- Provide tax-related advice and guidance to internal teams, including finance, legal, and operations, on matters such as tax implications of business decisions and transactions.
- Conduct training sessions to educate employees on relevant tax laws, regulations, and compliance procedures.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Additional qualifications such as CA (Chartered Accountant) or CA Drop Out or Semi Qualified CA
- Extensive knowledge of Indian tax laws, including income tax, GST, TDS, and other relevant regulations.
- Minimum of **2 **years of experience in accounting and taxation, preferably in a similar role with a focus on Indian tax laws.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
