Reports To: Sourcing Manager / Purchase Head
Job Summary:
The Costing and Sourcing Executive is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, identifying reliable suppliers, negotiating best prices, and ensuring timely procurement of materials. This role plays a key part in optimizing cost efficiency without compromising on quality or delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare product costing sheets based on raw materials, labor, overheads, and logistics.

Analyze Bill of Materials (BOM) and estimate the total cost of production.

Source and evaluate suppliers for raw materials, components, or services.

Obtain and compare quotations from multiple vendors.

Negotiate prices, payment terms, and lead times with suppliers.

Coordinate with production, QA, and design teams to align sourcing with project needs.

Monitor market trends and maintain vendor database.

Assist in developing cost-saving strategies and improving supplier performance.

Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities and costing data.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.

5-8 years of experience in costing and/or sourcing roles (industry-specific, if needed).

Strong negotiation and analytical skills.

Proficient in MS Excel, ERP/SAP systems.

Knowledge of industry materials and pricing trends.

Good communication and vendor management skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift

Supplemental Pay:

- Performance bonus
- Yearly bonus
