Qualification - Diploma/BE/B-tech (Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics) or having maximum experience of 1- 2 years in solar field in purchase department
Work Profile
- Spearheading the end-to-end Purchase Operations including Procurement, Sourcing, Supplier Relationship Management, Vendor Management, Strategic Planning, Inventory Management, Vendor development.
- Ensuring that key procurement plans are aligned with all contractual & statutory requirements, holding techno-commercial discussion with suppliers, finalizing the order of products based on the specifications we require after discussing with concern reporting authority and monitoring commercial operations as per Annual Maintenance Contract.
- Benchmarking organizational costs as per industrial trends & price level; implementing value engineering to reduce the cost of existing products & processes.
- Ensuring purchase schedules against the preset procurement plan for timely procurement of various items, project commissioning, operational spares, raw materials & capital equipment to ensure smooth operations
- Contributing in Finance activities (Like... Collection of Sales Invoice from vendor & submit the same in finance departments), ensuring timely filing of GST returns.
- Developing, leading & executing purchasing strategies; tracking & reporting key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
- Evaluating sourcing procedures & presented improvement strategies; analysing & calculated procurement costs and developed cost reduction strategies
- Negotiating contracts with key suppliers, including costs & terms of supply, service & quality, conducted market research as well as created cost estimates & forecasts
