As an Endodontist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental conditions related to the pulp and root canals of teeth. This includes performing root canal therapy, endodontic surgery, and other specialized procedures to alleviate pain and preserve natural teeth. Collaboration with general dentists and other dental specialists is essential to ensure comprehensive patient care.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Diagnosis and Treatment Planning**:
- Conduct thorough examinations and diagnostic tests to identify endodontic issues.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans based on diagnostic findings.
- **Root Canal Therapy**:
- Perform root canal procedures to remove infected or damaged pulp from teeth.
- Utilize advanced techniques and technology for efficient and effective treatment.
- **Endodontic Surgery**:
- Perform endodontic surgery when necessary, such as apicoectomy and root-end resection.
- Address complications or persistent issues related to previous endodontic treatments.
- **Dental Trauma Management**:
- Provide emergency care for dental injuries and trauma affecting the pulp.
- Implement treatment strategies to save traumatized teeth.
- **Collaboration**:
- Work closely with general dentists and other specialists to ensure integrated patient care.
- Provide consultations and communicate treatment plans effectively.
- **Patient Education**:
- Educate patients on the importance of endodontic care and preventive measures.
- Offer guidance on post-treatment care and oral hygiene.
- **Research and Professional Development**:
- Stay abreast of the latest developments and advancements in endodontics.
- Participate in continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge.
- **Record Keeping**:
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- **Equipment and Technology**:
- Stay current with the use of advanced equipment and technology in endodontics.
- Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of equipment.
**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
