**Your Role and Responsibilities**

Mission:
Kyndryl is looking for highly motivated Automation architects to help drive the realization of the visions of cognitive cloud technologies.

**Job Description**:
Desired Attributes and Skills:

- Understanding of automation design techniques, methods, and approaches
- Hands-on experience authoring, building, and adopting large scale and robust automation frameworks across interfaces, back-end integration, tools, and databases.
- The ability to understand and assimilate different points of view
- A strong desire to work with people in a team-focused environment
- Have prior exposure working in an AGILE environments/teams using methodologies such as, SCRUM, KANBAN, and exposure to supporting tools
- Strong knowledge of orchestration platforms (both public and private)
- Natural leadership skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative culture
- The willingness to take ownership of challenging tasks, even beyond your initial scope of responsibility
- The flexibility to travel to client locations
- Ability to implement right-fit automation implementations
- Have demonstrable experience implementing automation using accelerators, tools and partnering products
- Implementation of Automation testing solutions to provide Continuous Testing showing knowledge of CI/CD accelerators

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Experience with designing various orchestration engagements using vRA/vRO, CloudForms, Ansible, Terraform, Python, AWS, Azure across virtualized services of Virtual Machines and Containers
- Strong understanding of vRealize Automation, vRealize Orchestrator, Log Insights, Operations Insight, vSphere and vRA API’s
- Intermediate understanding of JSON/YAML
- Solid understanding of Cloud fundamentals, Automation Managed Services, Site Reliability Engineer responsibilities
- Hands on experience on one with various Cloud Providers: IBM Softlayer, AWS, Azure, etc.
- understanding of NSX, VSAN is a plus

**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**
- You must be degree qualified with a minimum Bachelor degree in an applicable field
- You must have minimum 10 year’s experience in the automation discipline
- You must have minimum 4 year’s experience in leading automation solutions and delivering automation designs to complex technology landscapes.
- At least 2 years exposure to DevOps techniques and tools (such as Jenkins, Chef, SVN, SourceSafe and etc).
