Responsible for the operation of production environments, including systems and databases, supporting critical business operations. Will perform administration and analysis for multiple production environments and recommend new and novel solutions to improve availability, performance, and supportability. This is an opportunity to bring a combination of deep technical knowledge with administration/analysis knowledge of Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure to provide escalation support to a wide range of complex production environment problems related to immense growth, scaling, leveraging the cloud, extremely high performance, and high availability requirements.

As a member of the Oracle Managed Cloud Services organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. Your primary task will be to provide Level One support to customers and maintain high level of customer satisfaction while meeting guidelines.

As this is an entry-level technical position at Oracle, a technical degree is preferred i.e., BS Computer Science/Management Information Systems/Science/ Engineering with at least 2 years professional experience. Certifications in Oracle / OCI is a plus.

Your Role:
As the Shift Lead, you’ll play a critical IT Service Management role that processes a large volume of Service Requests each day. You would be primarily responsible for the following:

- Serve as the ServiceDesk liaison to the Customers and OMCS Global Ops team
- Ensure response and execution SLAs meet the contract guidelines.
- Review current major incidents, planned / unplanned outages and business milestones for the day
- Track Change Tickets for proper approvals. Represent the team on CAB meetings.
- Review operational metrics and note areas for attention.
- Participate in Incident / Change management activities with the team.
- Manage shift hand-offs
