Senior System Administrator

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, virtualisation with Office 365 experince and a passion for maintaining and optimizing IT infrastructure. As a System Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our systems Key Responsibilities:Monitorand ensure the health, performance, and security of servers, networks, andsystems.ManagingSecurView' s office 365 tenants, application (SharePoint, Teams, Exchangeetc.), Azure cloud servers andPerformregular system updates, patches, and backups.Troubleshootand resolve hardware, software, and network issues.HandlingSecurView virtualisation infrastructure.Managingcompliance like ISO 27001:2013 for IT infrastructureSupportend -users by providing technical assistance and resolving IT -related problems.PatchManagement and compliance.Anti -Virus/EDR Management and host compliance. Developand maintain IT documentation, including system configurations, procedures, anduser guides. Managingdifferent vendors for IT requirementsEnsurecompliance with IT policies, security protocols, and best practices.Collaboratewith other team members to plan and implement IT projects and improvements.SystemOS installation, configuration and maintenance.ActiveDirectory ManagementManageand maintain Office 365 environment, including user accounts, permissions, andemail services.Install,configure, and maintain servers, storage systems, and other infrastructurecomponents.Monitorsystem performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring maximum uptime andreliability.Performroutine maintenance tasks, such as system updates, patches, and backups.Experiencewith databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management.Co -ordinatewith Network Security monitoring team for Incident resolutionKnowledgeof system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery.Implementand maintain security measures to protect systems and data from unauthorizedaccess and cyber threats.Manageuser accounts, permissions, and access controls.Developand maintain documentation for systems, procedures, and configurations.Providetechnical support and guidance to end users and other staff.Participatein on -call rotation and respond to after -hours emergencies as needed.Staycurrent with industry trends and best practices in system administration.Troubleshoothardware, software, and network issues, escalating to appropriate teams whennecessary.Setup and maintain user accounts and access permissions.Performroutine maintenance tasks, such as system updates and backups.Monitorsystem performance and respond to alerts.Documentsupport activities, solutions, and procedures. Requirements5+years of experience in system administration or a similar role.Bachelor's degree in information technology,Computer Science, or related fieldStrongexperience with different Microsoft Application like SharePoint, Teams,Exchange, and other Office 365 products etc for configuration, administrationand support.Proficiencyin Windows and Linux server administration.Experiencewith network management and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).Excellentcommunication and customer service skillsExperiencewith virtualization technologies like VMware.Excellent problem -solving skills andattention to detail.Strongcommunication, interpersonal and analytical skills.Abilityto work independently and as part of a team.Strongunderstanding of cloud Azure and AWSExperiencewith hardware troubleshooting and repair.Abilityto work independently and as part of a team.Relevantcertifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, Red HatCertified Engineer,). will be added advantage.
