SRE Coach: The SRE Coach is responsible for leading and mentoring a team of SREs to implement best practices and processes related to site reliability engineering. The role involves collaborating with DevSecOps Automation teams and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for improving system reliability and performance defining and implementing metrics and monitoring systems identifying and automating repetitive tasks participating in on-call rotations and incident response and staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to site reliability engineering. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills in-depth knowledge of SRE principles and technologies experience with automation and monitoring systems excellent problem-solving and communication skills and cloud infrastructure experience. Principal Responsibilities: Responsibilities for this role may include but are not limited to: ? Lead and mentor the SRE team in the implementation of best practices and processes related to site reliability engineering. ? Work with DevOps teams and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for improving the reliability and performance of our infrastructure and applications. ? Define and implement metrics and monitoring systems to measure the reliability and performance of our systems and identify areas for improvement. ? Identify and implement automation and tooling to streamline the SRE process and increase efficiency. ? Collaborate with the security team to ensure that our systems meet security and compliance requirements. ? Develop and maintain documentation and training materials to ensure that the SRE team has the knowledge and skills necessary to meet our reliability and performance objectives. ? Participate in on-call rotations and incident response providing guidance and support to the SRE team and other stakeholders. ? Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to site reliability engineering and make recommendations for adoption where appropriate. Experience: ? Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field. ? 5+ years of experience as an SRE or in a related role. ? Strong leadership skills and experience mentoring and coaching team members. ? In-depth knowledge of site reliability engineering principles best practices and technologies. ? Experience with automation and tooling such as Kubernetes Ansible Terraform and Jenkins. ? Experience with metrics and monitoring systems such as Prometheus Grafana and Splunk. ? Strong problem-solving skills and experience troubleshooting complex systems. ? Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. ? Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform is a plus. ? Experience in driving SRE culture across an organization & increasing SRE adoption ? Experience in Workforce transformation exercise involving career path building for SRE work stream ? Exposure to Infrastructure automation & self healing as part of Enterprise Infrastructure Support transformation Education Training &/or Certification: ? Certification in SRE-related technologies or methodologies is a plus.
