1. Checking and recording patients’ vitals before, during, and after dialysis treatment.

2. Ensuring that hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis treatments are administered to patients correctly.

3. Monitoring patients during dialysis treatment to identify any adverse reactions.

4. Preparing and updating nursing care plans.

5. Promptly notifying the appropriate medical practitioner of any problems that occur during dialysis treatments.

6. Working with the Dialysis Technicians to ensure that dialysis machines and equipment are set up correctly.

7. Teaching patients and their family members how to operate home dialysis machines should they decide on home dialysis therapy.

8. Educating patients on dialysis treatment options, kidney disease management, as well as suitable nutrition and exercise regimens.

**A. GENERAL**

9. Supervision of domestic staff.

10. Assistance in orientation of new staff nurses.

11. Participation in staff education, staff meeting, professional activities and in-service education program.

12. Gives orientation to patient and relatives about physical facilities, policy rules and regulations of the hospital.

13. Reports any absenteeism of staff.

14. Maintain privacy & confidentiality of the patient.

15. To follow the Process Improvement programs and carry on Quality Initiatives in the department.

16. Ensure upkeep, safety & security of the hospital property

17. Understand & execute the duties as reliever to peers in case of leave, in addition to own.

All other job responsibilities of appropriate nature as assigned by the reporting head/ hospital authorities on behalf of the Honorable Management.

**Salary**: ₹18,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
