**Job Summary**:
The Sports & Performing Arts Coordinator will oversee the planning, implementation, and monitoring of all sports and performing arts activities within the CBSE curriculum framework. The coordinator will work collaboratively with faculty, coaches, and activity instructors to promote holistic student development, foster talent, and ensure active participation in co-curricular programs that align with the school’s vision and CBSE guidelines.

**Key Responsibilities:Sports Coordination**:

- Develop and execute an annual sports calendar aligned with the CBSE academic schedule.
- Organize training sessions, inter-house competitions, and inter-school tournaments.
- Ensure maintenance of sports equipment and facilities.
- Promote physical education and wellness across all grade levels.
- Identify and mentor students for district/state/national-level competitions.

**Performing Arts Coordination**:

- Plan and coordinate performing arts activities including music, dance, drama, and theater.
- Collaborate with performing arts teachers to organize performances for assemblies, annual functions, and cultural events.
- Nurture individual student talents and encourage participation in competitions and public performances.
- Ensure integration of performing arts within the CBSE co-scholastic curriculum.

**General Duties**:

- Maintain detailed records of student participation, achievements, and inventory.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of coaches, trainers, and instructors.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards during all physical and performance activities.
- Foster a culture of discipline, teamwork, creativity, and sportsmanship.
- Liaise with parents and school leadership regarding student progress and program updates.
- Stay updated with CBSE circulars and implement any curriculum or co-curricular changes accordingly.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Education, Performing Arts, or a related field.
- B.Ed. preferred and required as per CBSE norms.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a CBSE school.
- Knowledge of CBSE’s co-scholastic assessment framework.
- Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in managing school events and inter-school participation.
