**Job Summary**:
The Photographic Editor is responsible for curating, editing, and overseeing the production of high-quality images for publication. This role involves collaborating with photographers, managing image workflows, and ensuring that all visual content aligns with the publication's standards and brand identity. The Photographic Editor must have a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Image Selection and Curation**:

- Review and select images submitted by photographers to ensure they meet the publication's quality and editorial standards.
- Curate and organize images for various projects, ensuring a consistent and cohesive visual style.
- **Photo Editing and Retouching**:

- Perform advanced photo editing and retouching tasks to enhance image quality, including color correction, cropping, and resizing.
- Ensure images are optimized for different platforms, including print, web, and social media.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:

- Work closely with photographers, designers, and editorial staff to understand project requirements and visual storytelling objectives.
- Provide constructive feedback to photographers and guide them in producing images that align with the publication's vision.
- **Image Management**:

- Maintain an organized digital archive of images, ensuring easy access and retrieval for future use.
- Implement and manage metadata tagging and keywording for efficient image searchability.
- **Quality Control**:

- Conduct thorough quality checks on all images to ensure they are free of technical flaws and meet publication standards.
- Ensure all images adhere to copyright regulations and obtain necessary permissions for usage.
- **Project Management**:

- Manage multiple image-related projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to deadlines.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure seamless integration of images into the final product.
- **Trend Analysis and Innovation**:

- Stay updated on industry trends, new editing techniques, and technological advancements in photographic editing.
- Implement innovative editing practices to enhance the visual appeal and impact of images.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree.
- Proven experience as a Photographic Editor or in a similar role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing advanced photo editing and retouching skills.
- Proficiency in photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and other relevant tools.
- Excellent understanding of visual composition, color theory, and image quality standards.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of copyright laws and ethical considerations in photo editing.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
