**Key Responsibilities**:

- Stitch and assemble sarees, blouses, and dress materials according to design specifications and customer measurements.
- Perform alterations, repairs, and adjustments to garments based on customer requests.
- Ensure that all tailoring work meets high-quality standards in terms of fit, finish, and detailing.
- Work closely with the fashion designer to understand and execute garment designs.
- Take accurate body measurements to create custom-fitted garments.
- Select appropriate fabrics, linings, and materials based on design requirements and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tailoring unit, tools, and equipment.
- Meet deadlines for orders and ensure timely delivery of garments.
- Collaborate with the sales and design teams to provide expert advice on garment construction and alterations.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience (2+ years) as a tailor, specializing in ethnic wear such as sarees, blouses, lehengas, and dress materials.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and measurements.
- Expertise in using industrial sewing machines, hand stitching, and other tailoring tools.
- Ability to perform complex alterations and create custom-fitted garments.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in stitching.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Knowledge of embroidery, applique work, and traditional Indian garment embellishment techniques is a plus.
