Strategic Accounting Infrastructure

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
As a Strategic Finance Program Management Associate in SAIC team, you will partner with various stakeholder across multiple regions to deliver project objectives throughout multiple phases including requirements documentation, functional analysis, and testing. You will have opportunities to leverage your product knowledge, problem solving ability, and accounting expertise to partner with finance, tech, ops for the project ranges from production uplifts / remediations, Industry / LOB initiatives.

We are looking for Associate to support the Impact & GPTM subledger Fixed Income trading system to support Fixed Income activities. Flexible working arrangements available.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide and document detailed accounting requirements for finance organization adhering to US and local GAAP.
- Providing finance project support for Impact subledger system and involvement with small to large scale initiatives with Impact
- Liaise with various stakeholders (Finance, Ops, Corporate Accounting Policy) across the firm to ensure the accounting requirements are addressed according to US GAAP
- Work closely with Technology during the development phase to ensure build meets finance requirements.
- Work closely with Operations to identify inconsistencies between Finance and Operations requirements.
- Execute UAT test cases; participate in E2E, production parallel testing.
- Analyze controls to ensure the strategic infrastructure operates within a solid control environment
- including identifying any opportunities for process and control improvements; Make certain the design meets Finance Principles and Big Rules established.
- Liaise with PMO and assist with overall governance.

- Detail oriented with strong analytical and critical thinking skills including root cause analysis and ability to provide solutions.
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse groups and regions.
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize, and manage multiple activities.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot tables, v-lookups, functions), PowerPoint, and Alteryx

**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills**:

- Knowledge of Impact or GPTM subledger system is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of key Finance systems and processes, including MIS and GL
- Knowledge of Alteryx is a plus but not required.
