**Position**: English Teacher**Classes**: Grade 3 to 7

**Location**: Presidency Public School (or as applicable)

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in alignment with the **CBSE curriculum**.
- Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, creative writing, and spoken English effectively.
- Use innovative teaching methods, including **storytelling, role-playing, and interactive activities** to enhance learning.
- Ensure students develop strong **listening, speaking, reading, and writing (LSRW)** skills.
- Incorporate digital tools, audio-visual aids, and smart classroom resources for effective learning.

**2. Classroom Management & Student Engagement**:

- Maintain discipline, create an **inclusive and positive** classroom environment.
- Encourage **critical thinking and creativity** through discussions, debates, and interactive sessions.
- Identify and address **learning gaps**, providing additional support where needed.
- Foster a **reading culture** by recommending age-appropriate literature and library resources.

**3. Assessment & Progress Monitoring**:

- Design and conduct **formative and summative assessments** as per CBSE guidelines.
- Regularly evaluate student progress and provide **constructive feedback**.
- Maintain student records, prepare report cards, and communicate progress with parents.

**4. Co-Curricular & Extracurricular Involvement**:

- Organize and mentor students for **elocution, debate competitions, essay writing**, and other literary activities.
- Participate in school **functions, assemblies, and annual literary events**.
- Promote **language clubs, book fairs, and storytelling sessions**.

**5. Collaboration & Professional Development**:

- Work closely with **colleagues, coordinators, and school management** for academic planning.
- Attend **workshops, CBSE training programs, and teacher development sessions**.
- Stay updated with **modern teaching methodologies and language teaching techniques**.

**6. School Policies & Ethical Conduct**:

- Adhere to **CBSE guidelines and school policies**.
- Maintain **professional ethics** and ensure **student safety and well-being**.
- Encourage **moral values, discipline, and a positive attitude** in students.

**Qualifications & Skills Required**:
✔ **Bachelor’s / Master’s degree** in English or a related field.
✔ **B.Ed. qualification** (mandatory as per CBSE norms).
✔ **Excellent communication and classroom management skills**.
✔ **Proficiency in lesson planning, assessments, and interactive teaching strategies**.
✔ Ability to **engage young learners with innovative techniques**.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
