**Projet**:

- Project Management Consultant Services for the Project for Climate Change Response and Ecosystem Services Enhancement in Rajastahn (CRESEP)**Ginger SOFRECO** is looking for experts to constitute its Project Management Consultant team to support the **Project for Climate Change Response and Ecosystem Services Enhancement in Rajasthan (CRESEP)**, implemented by the Government of **India** and financed through a loan from the **Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).**

**CRESEP** is an **8-year project** aimed at addressing climate change and enhancing ecosystem services through afforestation, forest conservation, biodiversity conservation, eco-restoration, livelihood improvement activities, and institutional strengthening. The project seeks to contribute to the sustainable socioeconomic development of **Rajasthan.**
- **Location**: Jaipur, Rajasthan, with some field visits
- **Expected Start Date**: May 2025
- **Contract Type**: Consultancy (part-time)
- **Preference**: Local profiles based in Jaipur will be valued.
- To support the PMU to design overall implementation plans for Community-based Conservation.
- To introduce and adapt case examples of community-based conservation in other countries.
- To support the PMU in procurement of specialized agencies.
- To support the PMU and monitor project implementation progress in the responsible fields.
- To support the PMU to procure necessary community-based conservation systems.
- To monitor the progress and evaluate outcomes of project implementation periodically with the M&E Expert.
- To design training programs and monitor and evaluate the progress and outcomes.
- To support the PMU to develop convergence with relevant agencies and ensure the quality of outcomes.
- To support the PMU to develop and edit guidelines and manuals for community-based conservation.
- To attend to any other tasks reasonably allocated by the Team Leader.

**QUALIFICATION**Qualifications**:

- ** Education**:

- Master’s degree in Biodiversity Conservation (e.g., Botany, Zoology, Agriculture, Forestry, Wildlife Science, Environmental Science).
- OR a Master’s degree in Social Science (e.g., Sociology, Anthropology) with a related focus on Community-Based Conservation.
- ** Experience**:

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in biodiversity conservation.
- Experience with ecosystem rehabilitation.
- Experience with field data collection and statistical analysis.
- Work experience with technical assistance aid projects.
- Good understanding of international trends in community-based conservation.
- ** Languages**: English and Hindi.
