**Job Title: Manual Tester**

Location: Mohali

Experience: 1-4 years

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Understand project requirements and create detailed **test cases** and **test scenarios**:

- Execute **functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT)**:

- Log defects and track them through to resolution using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)
- Work closely with development teams to clarify issues and verify fixes
- Ensure test coverage and contribute to improving the QA process
- Participate in review meetings and provide feedback on product quality
- Prepare test reports and documentation

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- 1-4 years of experience in **manual software testing**:

- Strong understanding of **SDLC** and **STLC**:

- Experience in writing and executing detailed **test cases and test plans**:

- Familiarity with **bug tracking tools** like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar
- Good knowledge of **functional testing, regression testing, and UAT**:

- Basic understanding of databases and SQL queries is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills to work with cross-functional teams

**Nice to Have**:

- Basic knowledge of **automation testing tools** (Selenium, QTP)
- Exposure to **API testing** (Postman, SoapUI)
- Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- ISTQB certification is a plus
