To strengthen our business team, we are looking for an International Growth Intern for 6+ months to support our launch in Mumbai Together with you, we would like to scale and expand our existing business in Mumbai and into other cities in India in the near future.

Your role

As an International Growth Intern you will report directly to our Head of Growth India and assist with go-to-market planning and subsequent execution. The following tasks fall within your area of responsibility:

- Lead the development and continuous improvement of core business processes between Vara and our strategic partner in India, e.g. reporting and finance processes.
- Support in all phases of cooperation with our strategic partner in India, e.g. strategic planning and execution of growth initiatives tailored to the Indian market.
- Conceptualize go-to-market approaches in India that take into account the local market specifics.
- Setting up meetings and handling related preparation for potential strategic business partners, incl. briefings and presentation materials.
- Preparation of business cases for the economic validation of different go-to-market approaches.
- Support fundraising activities for our upcoming investment round by taking over fundraising-related work packages.
- Be closely involved in the exploration of future international entity setups with strategic partners (M&A, Joint Ventures, etc.).

**Profile**:

- Student/Graduate of ideally a business or technical degree program (Bachelor, Master or MBA).
- Professional experience (e.g. through internships) at a VC-backed startup, management consultancy or in a similar fast-paced and relevant professional environment. Prior work experience in India is a plus.
- Fluency in Hindi and English language skills at a business fluent level is required.
- Excellent comprehension, very good analytical skills, exceptional commitment, great communication skills and proven ability as a team player.
- Willingness to take responsibility, to contribute to conceptual and operational planning sessions with strong ideas, to handle relationships with partners with an entrepreneurial perspective.
- Strong detail orientation, ability to think outside of the box, and cap to manage multiple projects in parallel in a highly dynamic and ever-changing work environment.
