**Job Title: Production Planning & Control**

**Location: Chennai**

**Reports To: General Manager**

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Manage production, scheduling, quality control, and maintenance activities to ensure product delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

2. Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer requirements.

3. Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for process improvement.

4. Develop and implement standard operating procedures for production processes.

5. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality, engineering, and maintenance, to identify and resolve production issues.

7. Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies are available to support production.

8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members and other stakeholders to foster a positive work environment.

9. Manage departmental budgets and track expenses to ensure financial targets are met.

10. Develop and implement safety programs to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

**Qualifications**:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.

2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations management in a manufacturing environment.

3. Strong knowledge of production principles, practices, and techniques.

4. Experience with lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies.

5. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

6. Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.

7. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards, including safety and environmental regulations, is preferred.

8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

9. Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.

10. Experience managing budgets and tracking expenses.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Walk-In

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
