**RESPONSIBILITES**:

- Clinical testing of a new drug against an existing drug to ultimately show the new product’s superior benefits.
- Providing quality data for dossier submission / registration of drug product as per respective market requirement. Justification for post submission / approval regulatory queries.
- Line extensions, or innovations and improvements for existing prescription drugs, which include developing new dosages and delivery systems and testing for additional potential uses.
- Pre-clinical research and discovery of innovative drugs.
- Preparation and review of user requirement specification for procurement of new Equipment’s/instruments.
- Designing production processes for the new product.
- Involvement in item Code generation of new RM, PM and Finished product.
- Additional clinical trials after a new drug reaches the market, for safety monitoring and detection of additional side effects that may not have been observed in earlier trials during development.
- Preparation, review& monitoring of SOP for various processes & lab instrumentation of Formulation R&D.

**Qualifications: Education, Skills & Experience**
- Ph.D. Degree in Chemistry, preferably in Synthetic Organic Chemistry.
- 3+ years of Post Graduate / Post Doc work experience.
- Post-graduate industrial, or academic experience with synthetic organic chemistry.
- Leadership and project management experience-preferably at a pharmaceutical or fine chemical company, is considered an asset.
- Thorough understanding of analytical chemistry and related regulatory affairs is also an asset.
- Proficiency with operational leadership, including exemplary resource management skills.
- Advanced knowledge of synthetic organic and process chemistry. Familiarity with production capabilities in pilot plant and kilo lab environments operating under current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Adherence to Environmental Health and Safety regulations.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
