Pre Primary Coordinator

**Position Overview**:
The Kindergarten Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the academic, administrative, and developmental aspects of the kindergarten program. This position requires a deep understanding of the CBSE curriculum, as well as expertise in Montessori methods. The role involves leading a team of teachers, ensuring quality teaching practices, and fostering a stimulating learning environment that promotes the overall development of children aged 3-6 years.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Development and Implementation**:

- Ensure the effective implementation of the CBSE curriculum in the kindergarten program, aligning it with developmental milestones and learning objectives.
- Integrate Montessori principles and activities into the daily schedule to support individualized learning needs.
- Develop and adapt teaching materials and resources that encourage hands-on learning, creativity, and problem-solving.
- **Leadership and Teacher Support**:

- Lead, mentor, and train a team of kindergarten teachers to maintain high teaching standards.
- Conduct regular observations and provide constructive feedback to improve teaching practices.
- Organize and facilitate professional development workshops for teachers on both CBSE curriculum and Montessori methods.
- **Classroom Management and Environment**:

- Ensure that the classroom environment is safe, welcoming, and conducive to learning.
- Oversee the arrangement of learning spaces according to Montessori principles (e.g., child-centered, accessible resources).
- Monitor student behavior and implement positive discipline strategies in collaboration with teachers and parents.
- **Assessment and Reporting**:

- Monitor and assess students’ progress through observations and formative assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of student development and provide regular reports to parents.
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings and provide feedback on children’s growth and achievements.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- Coordinate daily schedules, events, and school activities for the kindergarten program.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and CBSE regulations related to early childhood education.
- Handle inquiries from parents, addressing concerns and maintaining a positive school-community relationship.
- **Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with other academic coordinators, administrators, and staff to ensure seamless integration across grade levels.
- Promote a collaborative, team-oriented atmosphere within the kindergarten department.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- **Educational Qualifications**:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.), preferably with specialization in Early Childhood Education or Montessori Education.
- Montessori Certification (preferably from a recognized institution) is required.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience teaching kindergarten students, with at least 2 years in a leadership or coordinator role.
- Experience with the CBSE curriculum and Montessori method is essential.
- Proven track record of leading and mentoring a team of teachers.
- **Skills and Competencies**:

- In-depth knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and early childhood educational theories.
- Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy and classroom management techniques.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and students.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A compassionate, nurturing attitude toward young children and a commitment to their developmental needs.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
