**About This Role**
- Office Assistant will be responsible for carrying out support services and managing pantry efficiently at the field office. S/he will be responsible for mail management — all incoming and outgoing and will also support field implementation team in carrying out bank works, filing, etc. She/he will work under the guidance of Senior Field Officer / Field Officer under the project “Tackling the root causes of child labour in India spices supply chains” being implemented at the field location.

**Required Experience and Education**
- PUC 12, Graduate, or other relevant degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in managing pantry services and other office support roles.
- Proficiency in communication in local language Hindi and Marwari/ Rajasthani.
- Reading and writing of English and Hindi would be advantage.
- Willingness to travel to remote villages and communities, as and when required to support organising program activities.
- Gender-sensitive with a strong commitment to the empowerment of disadvantaged children.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Prepare and serve tea, coffee, and snacks to employees.
- Maintain a clean and organized pantry, keeping track of inventory and informing the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
- Manage mail by collecting, sorting, and distributing incoming mail; ensuring proper dispatch of outgoing mail, including tasks like franking and labeling.
- Assist the field implementation team with tasks such as bank-related work, filing, scanning, photocopying, local travels organisation, etc.
- Visit government offices for filing returns and completing other assigned tasks.
- Ensure the office is opened and closed at required times.
- Support other departments as needed to ensure smooth office operations.
- Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

**Other Required Competencies**
- Knowledge of basic office equipment (photocopiers, scanners, etc.).
- Understanding of child protection and safeguarding frameworks would be an asset.
