Our client is an Australian company, a leader in their industry, seeking an experienced and highly skilled Mechanical Draftsperson to join their team remotely from India.

**Fixed 5-day working week (Monday to Friday), day shift, with remote opportunity**

**THE ROLE**:
**Key responsibilities**:

- Assist in designing and developing mechanical and electrical projects.
- Contribute to concept product development.
- Create 3D models and manufacturing drawings using 3D CAD software.
- Prepare manuals, reports, and other technical documents.
- Manage smaller projects from conception to implementation.
- Liaise with customers, production staff, and suppliers.
- Maintain drafting libraries, work instructions, and office documentation.
- Ensure adherence to ISO9001 quality standards.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in 3D mechanical CAD design and drafting.
- Mechanical engineering qualification preferred; equivalent experience also considered.
- Additional trade qualifications in fabrication/manufacturing will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks, NX, and Teamcenter software.
- Hands-on experience working with engineers, production teams, and customers.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication methods and workshop practices.
- Ability to prepare clear assembly instructions and technical reports.
- Strong communication skills with a proactive and positive attitude.
