**Class Schedule**: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
**Timings**: 8 PM to 10 PM IST
**Compensation**: INR 1,000 per hour
**Location**: Remote

**Role Overview**:
IIM SKILLS seeks an experienced and dedicated **Medical Coding Trainer** to deliver high-quality online training to aspiring medical coding professionals. The trainer will be responsible for teaching foundational and advanced medical coding concepts, preparing students for industry-recognized certifications, and ensuring they are equipped with the skills required to excel in the healthcare coding domain.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct interactive and engaging live online classes for 2 hours per session on **Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays**, as per the training schedule.
- Teach key modules and certifications, including:

- **Certified Professional Coder (CPC)**:

- **Certified Coding Associate (CCA)**:

- **Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)**:

- **Certified Outpatient Coder (COC)**:

- **Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC)**:

- **Risk Adjustment Coding Certification (CRC)**:

- **Certified Electronic Health Records Specialist (CEHRS)**:

- Provide comprehensive knowledge on coding systems such as ICD, CPT, and HCPCS, as well as compliance, billing, and EHR systems.
- Develop, customize, and deliver course materials, including slides, case studies, and practice assignments.
- Prepare students for certifications with mock tests, practice coding scenarios, and exam strategies.
- Address student queries promptly and provide guidance for career development in medical coding.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in medical coding, healthcare compliance, and certification standards.

**Qualifications and Skills Required**:

- **Educational Background**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Healthcare, Medical Coding, or Life Sciences preferred).
- Certification(s) in medical coding such as CPC, CCA, CCS, or equivalent.
- **Professional Experience**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in medical coding (inpatient, outpatient, or specialty coding).
- Prior teaching or training experience is highly desirable.
- **Skills**:

- Complete knowledge of medical coding topics, including ICD, CPT, HCPCS, EHR, risk adjustment coding, and compliance.
- Proficient in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable delivering virtual training sessions and using online tools such as Zoom, Google Meet, or LMS platforms.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to manage queries and maintain course structure.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: ₹9,044.20 - ₹39,851.23 per month

Expected hours: 6 per week
