Officer - Logistics

**Purpose of the Job**

This position would need to supervise the operations of Logistics (both inward/Outward/MRO/External Warehouse) via control mechanisms. It would involve to be based at Warehouses on Daily basis on day to operations.

The position is critical for Compliance/SHE/Business/HR elements of Logistics department of DEPI, and the main tasks are:

- Compliance DSM and Local regulation related with Order-to-Cash and Demand Chain Planning process in DEMI
- SHE aspects of Logistics and Warehousing management
- Maintain high customer Service Level
- Inventory management

**Key Areas of Accountability**:

- Supervise that Outsourced operations comply with DSM SHE & Security requirements and Indian legislations.**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for managing all inbound and outbound goods flow
- Responsible to monitor SHE aspects in warehouse management
- Monitoring inwards of RM/ Transaction of RM/FG from(or)to Production & outward dispatches of FG are happening timely and safely
- Includes collection of Plant waste (non-hazardous/Plastics/all types) and disposing of SCRAP and waste to authorized Vendors.
- Responsible for inventory management ensure all goods in good and stored with safety conditions, meanwhile maintain accurate records;
- Ensure all transaction entered in system timely
- Ensure timely entries of Legal entries as per commercial Acts (wherever applicable)
- Ensure that Depot meets all legal & statutory requirements in terms of filing returns
- Responsible for executing and documenting periodic physical inventory counts at least once a year in consultation with the Finance Controller.
- Ensure and verify all RM received & FG goods delivery happens in time and arrange to store in proper condition
- SAP role of CSE (wherever applicable) for Depots which includes creating delivery and shipments, freight cost booking in shipments.
- Booking the Bills as described by Organisation

**Logistics & Order Fulfilment**
- Ensure the Logistics team operations comply with the Regulations of the government and DSM;
- Ensure SHE (Safe Operations for Transport, Warehousing) system runs effectively, maintain the high SHE results.
- Owner of the Customer Service Levels for depot operations
- Owner of logistics complaints for orders served through Gurgaon depot
- Evaluation and Development of the Logistic Service Provider

- A Bachelor degree preferably in logistics or supply chain management.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Operation/ Logistics with a manufacturing background.
- Knowledge of using SAP Systems.
- Great communication skills.
- You are a team player, but also able to work independently.
