- Job Purpose:

- Responsible for establishing and managing the scope, design drawings, schedule, Purchase requests, Purchase orders and start-up of various Capital Projects focusing on material handling and documentation, ensuring that all company regulations and procedures are followed and that all work is done in a safe, timely and cost effective manner.
- Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare the Project proposals, detailed drawings and specifications for assigned projects using AutoCAD and Novartis Standards and Delivers CAD drawing inputs in any project timely and effectively
- Prepare technical drawings and plans for building and manufacturing by using computer-aided design and drafting (CAD or CADD) software programs
- Should coordinate with builders to establish requirements and understand design concepts. When deficiencies occur, CAD engineer revise designs to eliminate problems.
- Should be able to visually communicate concepts, draw well and be very detailed and knowledge on developing 2D or 3 D drawings
- Leading project stage documentation during construction phase. Prepare & supervise the project inventories as per the requirement of schedules and Perform other related duties as required.
- Ensuring the online documentation during project execution & archival of all project related documents as per the procedure and Maintain full compliance for Novartis and specific Quality, HSE and BCM Standards
- Achieve a high level of customer satisfaction from key customers within the country (e.g. based on annual customer satisfaction survey) in accordance with agreed SLA’s

**Minimum requirements**
- What you’ll bring to the role:
- Significant impact on the success of Engineering Project in NTO Sites by driving common facilities and service standards, processes and reporting to create greater transparency and highlight improvement opportunities.
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory regulations regarding facility operations
- Good Knowledge of Project management like - Project planning, Cost Management, Time Management, Construction management, Quality Management, Contract Administration, Safety Management & required Statutory approvals management.
- Experience of financial/budgetary processes and vendor management and ability to develop and maintain partnerships with internal as well as external organizations to achieve goals
- Ability to communicate and influence senior country level partners, both written and verbally and Ensure that all work is performed in full compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions and established safety standards.

Desirable requirements:
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Engineering/Technologist program (equivalent field experience) and proficiency in English
- Minimum 5 years’ of experience in any type of in construction or Healthcare industries. Hands-on experience with AutoCAD - 2 D, 3 D, CMMS material handling and documentation is required
