**Position Purpose**:

- The position is for a Principal in the Analytics HUB at Global Delivery Centre (GDC)
- The role is to establish a Japanese HUB within the Analytics team of GDC, whose aim is to deliver solutions that bring together expertise in IQVIA’s proprietary global data assets and solutions by clearly articulating the nature, value, and use cases of the data and analytics to the business and operations in a strategic mindset

**Role Summary**
- Rich experience of working with Japanese clients and strong knowledge of the Japanese market
- Bringing strategic thinking to internal and external client questions, developing clear actions to solve their issues, and acting as the trusted advisor to clients and global team members
- Responsible to establish a new team and grow it successfully to support Japanese stakeholders
- Manage team productivity and performance, ensure quality control, manage team risks, and troubleshoot, as needed

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Taking a leadership role in implementing Japan RBUs business vision and objectives, and support the development of the business
- Set up a cross functional Japan HUB team at GDC with strong Japanese language and analytics skills
- Demonstrates excellent project management skills and client influencing and relationship building skills
- Drives cross-functional collaboration with global teams to identify new opportunities/use cases or potential for process improvement
- Recommend improvements and alternative solutions to resolve problems
- Develop and/or lead new business opportunities through the identification of follow-on work and new leads
- Coaching and mentoring the team to achieve organizational and individual growth goals
- Work with Talent Acquisition team in India and Japan to set up the HUB and work with communication, training, and program manager in the formulation of plans and activities to support build up of the new team

**Knowledge and Skills Requirements**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - must be able to communicate fluently in Japanese and English, both verbally and in writing
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Demonstrates commitment to Analytics methodologies, processes and standards for execution and delivery and ensuring top notch quality standards of deliverables

**Education & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Healthcare (HC) or Life Sciences (LS) (B. Pharm/M. Pharm/MSc/BE/BTech/Biotech/any other relevant degree)
- Excellent understanding of the global healthcare and life sciences environment
- Excellent understanding of the Japanese HC & LS landscape
- Team management and team leadership skills
- Exceptional Japanese and English communication skills, both written and oral
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- High skills of interpretation and analysis (quantitative, qualitative and integration of different sources of data assets) - This would include thinking through the client business issue, adding the right context to the request (therapy area, business issue etc.) and developing a tailored, innovative solution to address the clients’ business objectives
- Able to analyze data sources (IQVIA and secondary) and reports to provide information on overall market to address a range of ad hoc business questions.
- Hand-on experience on secondary data sources and IQIVIA proprietary and non-IQVIA proprietary databases, Resources, etc.
