Job Description: Production Supervisor (Garments Outerwear Manufacturing Company)

Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
1. Manage and supervise the daily production operations in adherence to safety guidelines, quality standards, and production schedules.

2. Coordinate with the production planning team to ensure the availability of resources, such as fabrics, trims, and machinery, to meet production targets.

3. Monitor and control production costs effectively without compromising quality and productivity.

4. Provide clear instructions and guidelines to the production team, ensuring that employee training and skill development needs are met.

5. Delegate tasks to production staff based on their skillsets, while ensuring equitable distribution of workload.

6. Conduct regular performance assessments and provide feedback to team members, encouraging their growth and development.

7. Address any production issues or delays promptly, working collaboratively with other departments to find quick and effective solutions to minimize disruptions.

8. Implement and enforce strict quality control procedures to ensure that final products meet the required standards.

9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records and reports, including production quantities, materials usage, and labor hours.

10. Collaborate with the procurement and inventory control teams to forecast and manage raw material requirements.

11. Stay updated with industry developments and new manufacturing technologies, making recommendations for continuous improvement initiatives.

12. Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, employee engagement, and upholding company policies and values.

**Requirements**:
1. Bachelor's degree in têxtile engineering, apparel manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.

2. Proven experience as a Production Supervisor in a garments manufacturing company, specifically in outerwear production.

3. Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, including pattern making, sewing techniques, and quality control.

5. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

6. Exceptional leadership abilities and the capacity to motivate and inspire a diverse team.

7. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

9. Ability to work independently, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

10. Knowledge of health and safety regulations pertaining to garment manufacturing is preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
