**Job Title**: Laboratory Technician

**Job Summary**:
A Laboratory Technician, with a focus on Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT), plays a vital role in supporting scientific and research activities. Working under the supervision of scientists or laboratory managers, the Lab Technician ensures the accurate execution of experiments and maintains the smooth operation of the laboratory.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Sample Collection and Preparation**:

- Collect, label, and prepare samples for analysis following established protocols.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of samples to maintain their integrity.
- **Instrument Operation**:

- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments used for testing and analysis.
- Calibrate and troubleshoot equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- **Testing and Analysis**:

- Conduct experiments, tests, and analyses according to prescribed procedures.
- Record and interpret data, reporting any deviations or anomalies.
- **Quality Control**:

- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and precision in results.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines in the laboratory.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain detailed records of experiments, procedures, and results.
- Prepare reports summarizing findings for review by senior staff.
- **Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with scientists, researchers, and team members on various projects.
- Communicate effectively within the team to ensure a seamless workflow.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Monitor and manage laboratory supplies, chemicals, and equipment inventory.
- Place orders for supplies and equipment as needed.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- A bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (biology, chemistry, etc.), or
- An associate degree with relevant laboratory experience, or
- A degree or diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in operating laboratory equipment and analytical instruments.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols in a laboratory setting.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

**Salary**: ₹11,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
