**Job Purpose**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Assembly & Fitting**: Assemble and fit mechanical components to ensure proper functionality and alignment.
- **Preventive Maintenance**: Perform regular preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to avoid breakdowns and ensure smooth operations.
- **Troubleshooting**: Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, performing necessary repairs promptly.
- **Safety Compliance**: Ensure all work is conducted in compliance with safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- **Machine Tools Knowledge**: In-depth knowledge of tools like Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gage, Height Gage, Marking, Lapping/Scraping, Hole Size of Tap, Tapping Centricity, Drilling, and EOT crane maintenance.
- **Basic Drawing Understanding**: Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Education**: ITI Fitter / Mechanist or equivalent.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 10 years in fitting, welding, and gas cutting in an industrial environment.
- **Mechanical Knowledge**: Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, components, and maintenance practices.
- **Tools Knowledge**: Depth knowledge required in Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gage, Height Gage, Marking, Lapping/Scraping, Hole Size of Tap, Tapping Centricity, and Drilling.
- **Crane Maintenance**: Knowledge of EOT crane maintenance is a plus.
- **Teamwork & Independence**: Ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks effectively.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues quickly and effectively.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Comfortable working at heights or in challenging environments, such as plant floors or high-altitude workspaces.
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including heat, noise, and physical labor.
