Supervisor Metal

**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities1. Production & Operations**
- Supervise daily metal fabrication activities including cutting, bending, welding, machining, and assembly.
- Allocate tasks and manage workflow to meet production schedules and quality standards.
- Ensure all fabrication work aligns with design drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate timely maintenance to reduce downtime.

**2. Quality Assurance**
- Inspect fabricated components to ensure dimensional accuracy and finishing quality.
- Identify defects, suggest corrective actions, and ensure rework is completed promptly.
- Maintain quality records and support continuous improvement initiatives.

**3. Team Management**
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of welders, fabricators, and helpers.
- Conduct performance evaluations and ensure skill development.
- Foster a disciplined, safe, and productive workplace environment.

**4. Safety & Compliance**
- Enforce safety standards and use of PPE according to company and statutory guidelines.
- Conduct daily toolbox talks and ensure safe handling of equipment and materials.
- Report incidents, near misses, and ensure corrective/preventive actions.

**5. Documentation & Reporting**
- Maintain production logs, attendance, equipment usage reports, and material consumption records.
- Coordinate with the stores team for material planning and inventory control.
- Provide daily and weekly production reports to management.

**Required Qualifications & Skills**
- Diploma / ITI in Mechanical, Fabrication, Welding, or related field (preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in metal fabrication; 5+ years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques (MIG/TIG/Arc), CNC cutting, and fabrication processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and industrial standards.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
