**Need to do**
- **Key Tasks**_
- Represent the Company with the highest standards of professionalism and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders._
- Develop relationships with and understanding of key accounts, serving as the primary Point of Contact (POC) for designated accounts._
- Compile and review regional distribution sales & returns strategies in collaboration with the reporting manager through weekly tracker updates and monthly reports._
- Manage sales for the designated territory (Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Pondicherry,& Sri Lanka), including sales reporting, distribution, marketing partnerships, and securing shelf space at the retail level._
- Conduct regular sales visits to local and out-station distributors and retailers across the designated territory for promotions and order booking, including extensive travel to state capital cities and other important urban centers._
- Explore new business opportunities through corporate sales, direct sales to institutions, school exhibitions, book fairs, book launch events, book reading events, etc._
- Create and maintain updated mailing lists for distribution and establish Point of Sale (POS) materials at retail and distributor locations._
- Collaborate with the customer service executive on stock and logistics planning._
- Maintain relationships with local media in the region for media reviews, author interviews, and publicity for specific titles, author tours, and the company profile in general._
- Arrange author store signing visits and provide author care during their travel within the respective territory._
- Share market feedback, inputs, and competitor activity relevant to new product pricing, print run quantities, and new titles._

- AVP- Sales: To align on goal settings and provide daily updates on business progress._
- Customer Service Executive/Operations Team: To ensure timely order processing within the designated territory._
- Finance Team: To facilitate and help the timely collection of payments as and when requested by finance team._
- Marketing Team: To collaborate on effective marketing activities, including author visits, festivals, and book fairs._
- Product Team: To share insights on competitor pricing and information on new products performing well in the market._

- _Any Professional Qualifications_
- _Computer knowledge is mandatory._
- _Gmail, Excel spreadsheet (pivot table, look ups), PowerPoint etc._

- _Uses technical / job knowledge and experience, incorporating functional skills and broad-based business knowledge, to meet and exceed job requirements / customer expectations. _
