Reports To

Position Purpose

To oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Dharamshala located in Nagpur, ensuring

smooth functioning of guest services, housekeeping, and facility maintenance. The Caretaker/Warden

will focus on providing a hospitable and clean environment for guests, managing basic inventories,

and maintaining accurate records of operations. Food and accommodation will be provided for the

position.

Key Accountabilities

1. Guest Services:

- Ensure a warm, welcoming environment for guests.
- Address guest concerns and issues promptly to maintain satisfaction.

2. Facility Management:

- Supervise housekeeping and general upkeep of the Dharamshala premises.
- Ensure that all facilities are in good working condition and coordinate maintenance as

needed.

3. Inventory and Supplies:

- Monitor essential supplies for guests and staff, ensuring availability and cost
- effectiveness.
- Maintain basic stock records and liaise with suppliers for replenishment.

4. Record Keeping:

- Maintain records of guest check-ins, check-outs, and any relevant activities.
- Handle basic financial reporting and maintain expense logs.

5. Staff Oversight:

- Supervise and guide support staff to ensure they perform their duties effectively.
- Assist in scheduling and task delegation.

6. Compliance:

- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and cleanliness standards.

7. Communication:

- Report operational issues and updates to senior management regularly.

Essential Qualifications
- Minimum educational qualification: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of facility / guest house / hostel operations.

Required Experiences
- 5+ years of experience as a warden, caretaker, or similar role in managing a hostel, guest

house, or Dharamshala.
- Ability to handle guest relations and oversee staff effectively.
