We are looking for an enthusiastic Product Owner to work within our Credit & Verifications Services business. This is a hybrid role requiring travelling to Hyderabad office [2] times per week

Credit and Verification Services currently comprises nearly 100+ engineering teams who deliver over 200 products achieving significant revenue per annum for our UK Business.

**The Domian**

As a member of the team, you will be part of a delivery team working on the development of products that combine technology and business outcomes, allowing people to share their current account transactional data and blend it with credit information insights to receive a clear picture of their financial circumstances and commitments. You will also facilitate the integration and support the offer of our data science products through the different cloud vendor marketplaces.

We're a proud.NET house using a rich mixture of the tools and features. We're using.Net Core in all new services and are always keen to evaluate new features to see if we can take advantage of them.

We use multiple testing and quality techniques, and our services are pushed through our environments using DevOps pipelines.

**Key Responsibilities**

This role requires being an effective bridge between the product and engineering teams, working with the Product Manager to develop and prioritise the backlog, and then work closely with the ADL and development team to support PI planning and oversee the effective delivery of these items to production. Key responsibilities include:

- Drive the agile team to develop quality solutions that deliver the business value
- Collaborate effectively to support and enhance the full product lifecycle
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to create Epics and break them down into User Stories
- Agree the Definition of Done, drive quality acceptance criteria and ensure the team meets both on completed epics/stories
- Leading refinement and pointing sessions
- Lead/ actively participate in agile ceremonies including big room planning, sprint planning, sprint review etc

**Qualifications**
- Experience of the full development lifecycle and Agile ceremonies
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain solutions to technical and non-technical audiences
- Excellent stakeholder management, including speaking to internal teams/ stakeholders
- The ability to work with offshore teams from different cultures and background
- The ability to write clear epics / user stories with appropriate acceptance criteria
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to analyse problems and requirements

**Required Technical Skills/Knowledge**:

- 6+ years working as a Product Owner or equivalent experience
- Excellent Epic and story writing experience and documentation skills
- Use of WSJF to prioritise backlog items
- Strong working knowledge of JIRA and AHA
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office products

**Useful skills**:

- Speaking with clients to understand product performance and backend processes - and using this information to work with the Product Manager to identify ways to refine the product
- Good understanding of various development languages and the ability to understand code
- Knowledge of SQL and an understanding of relational databases
