As a QC Officer specializing in Gas Chromatography (GC) within the API Division, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our API products through meticulous analysis and testing using GC techniques. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold regulatory compliance and contribute to the continuous improvement of our quality control processes.
**Role & Responsibilities**:
- Perform routine analysis of API samples using Gas Chromatography techniques to assess their purity, identity, and quality attributes
- Execute validation studies for GC methods to ensure accuracy, precision, specificity, and robustness in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Operate and maintain GC instruments, ensuring proper calibration, troubleshooting, and adherence to established procedures
- Prepare API samples for GC analysis, including sample extraction, derivatization, dilution, and other sample handling techniques as required
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines (ICH, FDA, etc) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) in all QC activities, including method validation, sample analysis, and documentation
- Hands-on experience with GC instrumentation and software, including method development, validation, and routine analysis
