**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Inspection & Quality Control**:

- Conduct quality inspections of components produced using power press and bending press machines.
- Ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
- Identify and report defects or deviations in production.
- **Instrument Handling**:

- Use quality instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measurement tools for precise inspections.
- Calibrate and maintain inspection tools as needed.
- **Documentation**:

- Record inspection results and prepare detailed quality reports.
- Maintain accurate logs and records in Excel for traceability.
- **Process Improvement**:

- Collaborate with the production team to identify quality issues and suggest corrective actions.
- Assist in implementing quality control measures to minimize defects and waste.
- **Safety Compliance**:

- Ensure all inspections and quality checks are performed in adherence to safety protocols and standards.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering, Production, or a related field preferred.
- **Experience**:

- 1-2 years of experience in quality inspection, specifically in sheet metal and power press operations.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with power press and bending press machinery.
- Proficiency in using quality instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel for data recording and reporting.
- **Attributes**:

- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Exposure to ISO standards and quality management systems.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
