Incoming Quality Control Inspector

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct inspection and verification of incoming materials (e.g., switchgear components, cables, connectors, busbars, relays, meters, panel structures, etc.) as per approved specifications and drawings.
- Review supplier quality documents including Test Certificates, Inspection Reports, and Compliance Certificates.
- Identify non-conformities, initiate rejection procedures, and coordinate with procurement and suppliers for replacements or corrections.
- Maintain and update IQC records, inspection logs, and reports for traceability and audit purposes.
- Work with Design and Production teams to understand technical requirements and ensure compliance.
- Ensure proper storage, tagging, and handling of accepted and rejected materials.
- Support supplier audits and quality improvement initiatives.
- Use measuring instruments such as multimeters, vernier calipers, micrometers, insulation testers, etc., as needed for inspection.
- Adhere to company safety and quality standards and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

**Required Skills and Competencies**:

- Good knowledge of electrical components used in LT/HT electrical panels
- Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001, IEC/IS standards for electrical panels
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and BOMs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, and basic lean quality tools is an added advantage

**Preferred Industry**:
Electrical Panel Manufacturing, Switchgear, Power Distribution Equipment, Control Panel Assembly
