Job Purpose As an SCCM SOE specialist technician will be managing building and maintaining a Windows SOE and the applications used and ensuring non-standard environments are minimised. The role Provide technical guidance and assistance to business users and Application Owners to improve the SOE and packaging and testing by Applications Owners allowing deployment and ongoing support of the packaged applications in Windows end user compute environments. The position comes with a diverse range of responsibilities and challenges working with the business users on all aspects of the SOE Build and packaging processes Monthly and Adhoc Patching. Also have to manage and maintain complete SCCM environment. Key responsibilities â?¢ Build/ Maintain SCCM SOE images for end user compute that comply with Allianz Group standards â?¢ Work with Application Owners on the technical aspects of the application packaging request process. â?¢ Liaise with local projects to upgrade to supported versions on older environments. â?¢ Work closely with support teams to provide detailed technical input to application package requirements. â?¢ Provide Problem case investigations support to allow Application owners and users to work with their required software â?¢ Ensure technical testing processes prior to deployment to UAT or production with business users are undertaken â?¢ Work to develop local processes to improve engagement and support of applications on non-standard SOEâ??s. â?¢ Ensuring integrity of desktop SOE and packaged applications using current and new technologies to improve SOE delivery and application packaging. â?¢ Conducting root cause analysis of complex SOE and SCCM issues requiring a methodological approach and expertise in troubleshooting. â?¢ Providing 2nd and 3rd level support for a range of SCCM related issues that get escalated through the Service Desk. â?¢ System upgrades - keeping Application and SOE versions up to date with no vulnerabilities. â?¢ SCCM Upgrades and Site Administration. â?¢ Maintain incident and request queues on reported issues with applications. â?¢ Conduct system audits and maintenance to ensure the integrity of the application environment. â?¢ Conduct monthly and On-demand Patching & failure troubleshooting to achieve desired Compliance. â?¢ Recommending and implementing policies and standards and ensuring adherence to security procedures â?¢ Ensure knowledgebase articles and technical documentation including system designs Standard Operating Procedures and other documentations are current â?¢ Responsible for escalated tickets and prioritising incidents service requests and tasks to meet SLAâ??s particularly regarding SOE and packaged applications. Key requirement â?¢ Graduate Degree in computer science information technology or related field. â?¢ 3 â?? 5 years of working experiences in SOE Imaging Application Deployment and Patch deploying via SCCM â?¢ Proven experience of hands-on SOE Imaging is mandatory. â?¢ Previous proven experience implementing and managing MS SCCM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) â?¢ Have good understanding and proven experiences in servers and clients management and application deployment (over LAN WAN and VPN) â?¢ Good knowledge on information and network security â?¢ Have good understanding of ITSM processes â?¢ Have experience using ITSM tool such as ServiceNow [plus] â?¢ Microsoft SCCM SOE Build Capture Testing Deployment and documentation experience [required] â?¢ Configuring and managing experience of Cloud Management Gateway and Cloud DP is preferable. â?¢ Good communication skills interpersonal oral and written in English is a must.
