**Designation : Placement Officer.**

Vacant position-1
Experience : 2 to 3 years
Qualification : B.COM/ MBA (HR)
Salary : 25000 to 35000
Location : Bandra, Mumbai

Main Purpose of the Role
To support, plan, preparation, execution of work placements across the Institute curriculum.
Roles and Responsibilities
- To coordinate, liaison and build network with prospective companies as per the Institutional curriculum needs.
- To correspond to prospective companies from the respective segments for interview dates and schedule of events
- To arrange for interview facilities at the center
- To organise placements and support students in the placement process.
- To organise and attend placement visits to monitor the progress of students, and deal effectively with any issues/concerns that arise.
- To collect the appointment letters or correspond to get them as soon as the interview is over.
- To distribute appointment letters and collect acceptance letters from the students and dispatch to employers
- Assist with briefing meetings on a group and individual basis with students and course leaders so that they understand the placement process, the level of support available and are fully equipped to undertake a successful work placement.
- To be familiar with the checking process and assist students in the form completion.
- To assist in the distribution of relevant documentation to providers concerning work placement.
- To assist in the development and maintenance of a database of appropriate employer and commercial/industrial links.
- To assist with work placement correspondence and telephone enquiries internally and externally.
- To help monitor the progress of work placement throughout the Institute in liaison with the Placement Division Head.
- To communicate effectively with the Placement Division Head and appropriate team members.
- To cover for the Placement Division Head at appropriate meetings when necessary.
- Willing to undertake training where appropriate.
- Any other duties as required by your Line Manager, commensurate with the grade of the post.
